GHAP-GOD HAS A PLAN

I want to be described/remembered as someone who loves people, is great to be around and someone that built them to become better. Above all else I want to please God, my wife and my kids and be loved by as many people as possible.

The Musician

David Upton, was based out of Nashville, TN, by way of Orange County, CA. He was a worship leader, songwriter and musician with a dedicated heart that every listener could feel when he sang. David hoped to provide different styles of music with life-changing lyrics. Regardless of genre, David sought to bring his audience into a thought-provoking heartfelt experience, rather than just a show. The Man

Off stage, David was married to the love of his life and perfect partner of 30 years and they have two sons, David Jr. and Joshua that bring both challenge and inspiration at every turn of their life. Like many (if not most) of the human race, David’s life was a blend of what God intended and plenty of consequences caused by following what the world had to offer. David was blessed to have a network of great friends and family that supported his ministry and his ministry tribe and he now enjoys the front row seat view of God’s handiwork.

The Legacy

David LOVED people, he always encouraged others, he built people up, he fed their heart, he learned from yesterday, he lived fully in the present and he strived hard for tomorrow.

He loved every opportunity he had to talk to someone about Jesus. He mentioned “GHAP” in conversation, social media and throughout his day to day life because he knew people would ask what it meant and it would then open up a conversation to talk about Jesus and how Jesus continues to walk before us and beside us through every journey and trial. David and his wife soon trademarked GHAP-God Has A Plan and it now has become an everyday saying among friends, family and his ministry tribe.

Upon David’s passing, his family decided to keep his memory and legacy alive through merchandise and his music and would love for you to be a part of this next chapter!
